This year has gone by really quickly. It seems like the summer was just beginning, yet somehow, it's already behind us. With Halloween coming up, winter is on the way, which I still can't really believe. Whatever the case, it's now time to start planning for Halloween, as I'll need a costume this year. This is always the best time to get it out of the way in order to avoid worrying about what to get last minute.
Why wait until the last minute, when every store is jam packed with people and all that's left in the store is some uncomfortable outfit no one wanted to wear, along with a few lousy wigs? I've done that before, and I'm not going to let it happen again.
Be proactive and get your costume before everyone else does. You'll have the chance to be more creative, and you'll end up getting what you want. As for what you do want, if you're not sure yet, I have a few suggestions that you may find useful.
How about dressing up as someone famous? People love to see celebrity Halloween costumes. One suggestion I could make is to dress up as that famous singer who wowed the entire world via a video that spread like wildfire, Susan Boyle.
There's no doubt in my mind that Michael Jackson costumes will be all over the place. People will definitely want to honor the King of Pop, and these costumes should be in abundance this year.
These also make for entertaining and interesting costumes. If you can get the wig, the glove, some makeup, and the right kind of outfit, this can make for a great costume.
Don't be surprised to see plenty of Barack Obama halloween costumes out there too. Supporters and detractors will probably both create variations of this costume.
The Obama Halloween costume is sure to be a popular option this year. Whether you buy a mask or make your own, it should definitely be a fun one to pull off.
