Holiday Planning Tips For Busy Moms

Oh lala,The Holidays The Thanksgiving turkey is the best whenit comes out of the oven golden brown crispy hot, with an enticing mouth watering aroma that fills the entire house making everyone hungry. All the chinaware is in pristine and excellent condition and not a single piece in the set is missing or lost. The family is gathered for holiday pictures, and the small children are poised elegantley; hands to themselves, not a hair out of place and their smiles are shining brightly through their white teeth for the camera. Then just as the photographer is about to capture the shot you wake up!

come on let's be realistic ladies. Without proper planning and thinking, the holidays are anything but a holiday. Just look at the list of things that need to be done how big it is: cooking,shopping, cleaning, decorating, sending holiday mail, the list goes on and on and on.

Let me clue you all in on a few key questions that you should ask yourself in order to have a holiday season free of stress and worry, and instead filled with fun and laughter:

Ask yourself this...What types of holiday celebrations and fun your looking for? let me throw an example: Are you looking to have an immediate close family only holiday Celebration or perhaps an nice warm mix including immediate and extended family plus a few friends? Once you've thought everything through carefully and decided on the type of holiday party you would like, you can then start making your own plans.

Holiday Season Cards: Always Start as early as you can! I use a holiday card list that I Pull from saving names and addresses from holiday cards i have received in past years either on paper or on computer. for me I created a simple, computer list that is easy to edit and print address labels. also try to stock up lots of stamps so that when you have your cards signed, stuffed in envelope and addressed you can easily put a stamp to them and make one, simple trip to the Post Office and drop it off fast.
